There is an increasing amount of evidence that suggests oxytocin, known as the “love hormone”, may play a role in resiliency and coping from chronic stress by attenuating stress perception and activating different anti-inflammatory and antioxidant pathways and well as tissue repair and regeneration.
Previous studies have evaluated different stress management strategies – meditation, exercise, nutrition - to prevent the detrimental effects of stress.  Other studies also evaluated cognitive-behavioral training (CBT) and/or mental and physical relaxation with data on these programs being scarce. Innovative strategies are needed to assist in the management and prevention of stress and burnout.
Love2Care Behavioral training program integrates De Freitas’ latest medically-oriented, evidence-based, lifestyle interventions and health coaching strategies with Deutsch’s innovative unconditional self-care, self-love behavioral training that acknowledges and attends to the inner resistance that many have to self-care behavior.
